Through Ikigami Konko Daijin, the eternal living spirit of the Mediator We pray to Tenchi Kane no Kami, our Principle Parent of the Universe: I humbly offer the following prayer. Dear Principle Parent, by your diving will and guidance, we have gathere here, on this beautiful day, for the wedding of Matt Fukuda and Lora Ma. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy for allowing us to be here, and for your countless divine blessings which give us life through the miraculous workings of the Universe. Through your diving will and divine arrangement these two people have been brought together, given the chance to know one another, and have grown to love each other. They have chosen this blessed day to be united in marriage - before yoru sacred altar, and in the presence of their families and friends. We would like to express our sincerest appreciation and gratitude for these blessings. Great Parent, Tenchi Kane no Kami, pleasereceive our sincere prayers. We pray that Matt and Lora's love and commitment to one another will grow ever wider and ever deeper with every day they spend together as husband and wife. We pray that they continue to honor and respect their parents, family, and friends. We ask that they be granted the strength to overcome any obstacle, any challenge they may encounter by working together, with absolute faith in your divine blessings. We pray for their health and happiness in their relationship as husband and wife. We pray that they will continue to find guidance and strength through their faith. We pray that you continue to watch over, protect, and guide this couple so that they may build a strong faith and harmonious family life together. Let them always keep in their hearts your sacred teaching, which states "Faith is the foundation for a peaceful home."
