In
1997, the Smithsonian Institute took a chunk of their permanent exhibits
and put on a road show. They stopped many places, and among them was San
Jose, California where I got a chance to draw some friends together
to attend the show. I've been a member of the Smithsonian for many years,
but have never been to Washington, D.C. to see the actual museum. So far,
this show has been closest to the real thing.
Now that I've seen this teaser, I want to attend D.C. for the real thing. Here's a picture gallery from our outing...
