The group traveled up the stairway by torchlight. The stairway followed an underground stream up a glistening cave. At the top, the passage lead away from the stream to a broken gate. Behind that was a dark passage with an underground gatehouse, but no creatures lurked behind the murder holes and arrow slits there. A large slimy passage lead deeper into the mountain. Halfway down the passage a door lead to the right, and from somewhere down the passage a deep monstrous snort rumbled. The party decided to take the doorway, which lead into a room where wood paneling used to cover the wall but had since rotted and fallen away. This had revealed what must have been a secret passage. Single file the party headed down this new narrow cave like passage. In the wall, a lever was found in a recess that had evidence of being camouflage in its past, but whose door was broken now. The lever was rusted in place. The party moved on through the puddle lead by Heezzol. A trap door opened beneath his feet, but the pit below was fully filled with water. The trap door shut behind him, and in his heavy armor Heezzol sunk to the bottom amidst old rusted spikes. With a feeling of Deja vu, Vrade grabbed a rope, opened the pit doors, and swam to the bottom to grab Heezzol. Like fisherman, the party once again hauled up their catch of two soaked adventurers.
Continuing through the passage, the party came upon a small underground lake where a drainage pipe could be seen protruding from the wall a few feet down shore. The path continued along the lake+s bank and a tunnel lead to an old treasure room, but alas all the goods had been pilfered long ago. A door lead to a dryer narrow passage, which lead to a long series of steps heading up. The passage ended at the back of a secret door. Heavy breathing and moaning could be heard on the other side. The party burst into the room to the surprise of a naked human male and an equally naked albino elven female caught in the act. Both stood up and the human grabbed a long sword and started talking to the woman in a language the party could not understand. Heezzol commanded to the man to drop his sword. Garinn started moving around the side to get behind the woman. The human started screaming something in another language loudly and Heezol threw an axe at him. A battle ensued. Cinder and Allerin positioned themselves but waited to attack. The elven woman seemed to attempt to cast a spell but failed. Garinn attacked the woman who was making her way to a tarp attached to a wall, and heavily wounded her. Heezzol took out the human with a rib cleaving blow, and the woman ran through the tarp, which lead to a window looking out to the lake hundreds of feet below. Clutching her satchel, she jumped from the ledge, and could be seen falling at a rate magically slower than normal. Garinn continued to shoot arrows but failed to hit. She plunged into the water below.
The party regrouped, split up some found treasure, and proceeded to argue and bicker about actions of the individuals during the encounter or lack thereof.
